Since the launch of the theory test people have worried about it and thought it as another hurdle before they get there driving licence, but this is not the way to see it, the theory test is just basic highway code knowledge that you would need to know before you start driving a car on your own.
Think of it like this would you let a young child cross the road before you taught them about the dangers of looking properly, or let your new dog outside without a lead before you taught him to sit.
The answer is no!!
So why should you want to get into a car and drive on todays roads without the basic knowledge of what the signs mean and how you should respond to them, it is not a hurdle it is a safety feature that once passed will enhance your everyday driving and keep you safe.
