Your Instructional Ability Part Three
Already you have a good knowledge of the theory (part 1) and driving ability (part 2) so this is the chance to combine the two and pass on the knowledge.
In preparation for this driving ability test we will teach you how to teach others and pass on your knowledge. You will receive 40 hours of one to one tuition spread over 5 weeks to 20 weeks this depends on your time frame.
Your tutor will role play a variety of learner drivers at various stages of development and this will enable you to develop a wide range of training skills which you will master to pass the part three test.
The ADI Part 3 Training course will develop your skills in the following areas:

- Identification of faults
- Fault analysis : Correctly analyse why it happened
- Remedial action : How to correct the driving fault
- Instructional Techniques
- Level of Instruction : tailoring your instruction to the learners ability
- Planning : How to set up your lessons and plan your route

- Communication Skills : Visual, Audio, body language - Learn how to get your lesson across
- Q & A Techniques : Learn to use open, closed, probing, leading questions
- Feedback & Encouragement : Give Vital feedback on lesson progress and encouragement or progress made.
- Use of Controls : Use of the dual controls, how and when to use them
- Attitude & Approach : Learn to created a professional and relaxed learning enviroment.
